Passionate about people
Twenty years of caring for people in pain.
I am extremely grateful to have built a rich expertise over 20 years in the profession since graduating from Coventry University in 2007. I have crafted my work over many years in rehab and surgery and, latterly, musculoskeletal.
Having worked in a wide range of settings, from NHS hospitals to private hospitals to community teams, there aren’t many conditions I haven’t encountered several times over! Crucially, I care very much about people and their happiness, so I understand how quickly life can get frustrating or tricky with pain. I pride myself on my strong communication skills and absolute passion for people and positive outcomes.
Through a robust, detailed conversation followed by a thorough, individualised assessment, we are able to figure out a working diagnosis, set appropriate goals and create a good treatment plan. I consider it a privilege to help patients learn about their presenting issues and work together for positive gains.
Sammy’s journey

Graduated from Coventry University
Sammy qualified and became a chartered physiotherapist, beginning her career in the West Midlands.
Learning her craft across the wards
Surgery, respiratory, cardiology, endocrine, renal, colorectal, oncology, elderly care, mental health, orthopaedics, outpatients and intensive care: a rich foundation in treating the whole person. This developed her expertise in preoperative rehab (prehab), chronic pain, fatigue and the issues arising from immobility, weakness and loss of balance.
A move into musculoskeletal outpatients
Following maternity leave, and after the COVID pandemic, Sammy made an exciting move into private health care, treating pre- and post-operative inpatients as well as outpatients presenting with issues related to aches, pains, strains, sprains and fractures of the neck, back, knees, hips, ankles, shoulders, elbows and hands.
Flourish opens its doors
The flagship Flourish clinic opened in Oldbury, Birmingham, offering individualised assessment, diagnosis and treatment alongside home visits.
Flourish HQ, Wombourne
Flourish relocated and formally opened its doors at its new home in central Wombourne, South Staffordshire, with specialist post-operative rehab, elderly rehab and mobility work, acupuncture and the one-off Perimenopause MOT.
