Meet Sammy
Samantha ‘Sammy’ Mann has been chartered and practising physiotherapy since 2007, working all around the West Midlands in acute inpatient, private outpatient, hospital and community settings.

Passionate about people
A deep understanding of what pain and immobility really mean.
Sammy has a deep understanding of the needs of patients presenting with a multitude of health needs that stem from pain, immobility, weakness, balance problems, chest and breathing issues, anxiety and depression.
She is utterly passionate about people, and their health and well-being. She goes out of her way to understand the presenting needs and goals of her patients, offering robust assessment and achievable goal setting. Sammy adores working with people, offering support and expertise to help everyone flourish.
Sammy’s journey
Nearly two decades of hands-on experience.
Graduated from Coventry University
Sammy qualified and became a chartered physiotherapist, beginning her career in the West Midlands.
Learning her craft across the wards
Surgery, respiratory, cardiology, endocrine, renal, colorectal, oncology, elderly care, mental health, orthopaedics, outpatients and intensive care: a rich foundation in treating the whole person.
Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham
Sammy joined the QE and co-led a large, progressive surgical team, specialising in liver transplantation, pancreatic cancer and new amputees alongside complex colorectal, vascular and maxillofacial work. This developed her expertise in preoperative rehab (prehab), chronic pain, fatigue and the issues arising from immobility, weakness and loss of balance.
A move into musculoskeletal outpatients
Following maternity leave, and after the COVID pandemic, Sammy made an exciting move into outpatients, treating aches, pains, strains, sprains and fractures of the neck, back, knees, hips, ankles, shoulders, elbows and hands.
Nuffield, Ramsay and Flourish
Sammy works in private healthcare for both Nuffield and Ramsay hospitals, delivering high-quality care to pre- and post-surgical patients and rehabilitating them in outpatients, while bringing that same expertise to your home through Flourish.
